Families choose a funeral home once, in the worst week of their lives, and they pick the name they already trust. For a funeral home in North Miami Beach, we built that trust before the call: a short-form series answering the questions families are afraid to ask out loud.

TikTok analytics02The problem
Known by the families they'd served. Invisible to the ones who hadn't called yet.
Most funeral homes market the same way: a Google listing, a website, and word of mouth. That works for families who already know you. Everyone else picks from the first names they see when the moment comes.
And when it comes, families don't research for weeks. They call the name that already feels familiar and trustworthy. If that isn't you, the call goes somewhere else.
This funeral home had the experience and the reputation. What it didn't have was reach beyond the people who already knew it.
03What we did
Answer the questions nobody wants to ask.
Built the question bank
Questions like what a funeral actually costs and what happens in the first hours. The things families search at night and are afraid to ask out loud.
Put the director on camera
Short answers in his own calm voice. No sales pitch, no stock footage. Just the person a family would talk to.
Posted for strangers, not followers
Hooks written for people who had never heard of the funeral home, published as Reels on Instagram and Facebook, then on a brand-new TikTok.
Kept the paid side clean
We also fixed a Google Ads disapproval that was keeping their ads from running.
04The result
Nearly a million views, from people who'll remember the name.

One reel alone reached 142,898 views. Screenshots straight from Meta and TikTok; the funeral home's name and faces are cropped out.
05If this sounds familiar
Families search once. Be the name they already know.
Funeral homes don't need to go viral. They need to be the familiar, trusted name when a family finally searches. Content that answers real questions does that, and it keeps working long after it's posted.
06Questions
Funeral home content, answered.
Does social media really work for funeral homes?
Yes, when it answers real questions instead of advertising. 97.4% of this funeral home's 965,490 views came from people who didn't follow them, which is exactly the audience that will need a funeral home later.
Isn't it inappropriate to market a funeral home on TikTok or Reels?
Not when the content is calm, useful and respectful. Families are already searching these questions. A funeral director answering them honestly builds trust; a hard sales pitch doesn't.
Who appears in the videos?
The funeral director. Families want to hear from the person they'd actually be talking to, so we build the series around him and his tone.
How fast can a funeral home see results?
This series reached 965,490 views in 34 days. Calls follow trust, so the real payoff is being the name families remember when they need one.
